Best Way to get to Busan

If you enter Korea through Incheon International Airport (ICN), here are couple of suggestions for you to reach Busan from ICN.

Option 1: From ICN take airport train (AREX) to Gimpo airport (GMP) then take a flight to Busan (Gimhae airport, PUS)
  A. For AREX, There are two lines, one Express and the other All-stop (sometimes called commuter train). You need to take the All-stop train and get off at Gimpo airport.

Option 2: From ICN take airport train (AREX) to Seoul Station then take a high-speed train (KTX) to Busan
  A. For AREX, again, there are two lines, one Express and the other All-stop (sometimes called commuter train). Both will work for you, while we recommend the Express train, a convenient non-stop trip from the airport to Seoul Station with guaranteed seats.

  B. For KTX,  we strongly suggest you reserve tickets in advance.

If you enter Korea through Gimpo International Airport (GMP), you can conveniently take connection flights bound for Busan (PUS) at GMP. For those boarding from Japan, note that there will be 28 direct flights a week between Gimpo and Haneda starting from July 25. (Source from Joongang daily news)
