Hanwha Resort Haeundae is rated as three- star hotel for business and family. It has a total of 416 rooms including condomium (with kichen) type and hotel (without kichen) type. They provide guests with free WiFI, free parking, sauna and restaurant. A buffet breakfast or drinks are served at Blue Seagull restaurant and a sky bar on site. The nearest underground station is Dongbaek, which is located 850 metres away. The Gwangan Bridge is a few minutes’ drive from the resort, while Busan Yachting Center Stadium is 0.8 km away. August is peak season for beach resorts. Haeundae resort is fully booked in advance. It is recommended that you book a hotel room as soon as possible. Deadline of hotel reservation is August 20, on a first-come, first-served basis. The hotel offers a special rate below to RFIT delegates during the Symposium; from August 28 to August 31 only. In case you stay longer before or after the dates, you need to check it first with the hotel manager.

How to Get to the Venue from Gimhae Airport

Subway

Take a train, Busan Gimhae Light Rail Transit Line and transfer to Line #2 at “Sasang” station. Get off at “Dongbaek” station (subway line #2) and go out to Exit #1. Duration is 60 minutes. Download the Busan Subway Map or click the website.

Airport Limousine Bus

Take an airport limousine bus bound for Haeundae at bus stop, platform #1 on the 1st floor of the Airport. Drop off at Hanwha Resort Haeundae. Travel hour is 50 minutes. Bus fare is 7,000 KRW (≈ US$6.50). Bus runs every 30 minutes. Operating hours are 5:30 am to 10 pm. Visit the Gimhae Airport Public Transportation Information. Due to the COVID19 pandemic, the limousine bus might be suspended. Please check it at the Airport.

Taxi

Taxi is the fastest way to reach Hanhwa Resort Haeundae. It takes about 40 minutes (depending on traffic conditions). Taxi fares are different from regular taxi (KRW30,000 ≈ US$27) or deluxe taxi (KRW45,000 ≈ US$40). Additional 20% night surcharge (24:00-04:00) may be added to the fare.
